I tried two different products for the eyes a Nocturnal Cat Eyes Duo & Colour Chameleon Shadow Pencil and I have created two different looks using them to show you.
Nocturnal Cat Eyes Duo: There are four different shades in this range each intended to enhance four different eye colours. I picked the aubergine as I have green eyes and you get a shadow plus a corresponding eye liner. I wouldn't normally feel confident enough to put something with as dark a base as this on my eyes, however now I've seen how it looks I think I am converted! I blended the shadow in On the Prowl, all over the lid then added extra in the outer v and the crease to deepen it in those places. Using a liner brush I smudged a little under the eyes. I lined my upper lid with the Supernova Eye Liner and also lined the inner rim of my bottom lash line. In natural light the glitter is quite subtle but I found in the evening it came alive even more. The flecks of glitter particles catch the light and sparkle beautifully. Priced at £29 each.
Colour Chameleon Shadow Pencil: I picked the shadow pencil in Gold Digger as it was said to complement green eyes. It is a perfect combo between khaki and gold (also with a dark base) with flecks of glitter laced throughout. I worked the pencil over the eye lids then use my finger tip to blend it out and up towards the brow bone. Priced at £19 each.
I thought both of these products really brought out and enhanced the green in my eyes and also made the whites of my eyes pop making them appear bigger. I paired both of these looks with a nude lip (using natural nude from Mally Beauty) to keep the eyes as the focus.
If you go onto Charlotte Tilbury's Website she has video tutorials on each product page of how to use them which are very useful.
Overall I'm really impressed with the pigment, texture and overall luxurious quality of these products.
What do you think of the looks I've created? Have you tried anything from the Charlotte Tilbury makeup range before?
