It's that time again! Time to tell you my list of beauty, fashion & lifestyle items that I have been loving during the last month...
Tarte Cosmetics: Tarteist Blush Palette | Tarte are winning for me right now
with their fabulous new products, free from formulations and beautiful
packaging! I've always been a sucker for a pretty blush palette so when I spied that
QVC UK were stocking this beauty (which has been sold out for ages on Tarte's website) I
lept to add it to my shopping basket. You have four of their 12-hour Amazonian
Clay blushers in this palette. I love the variety of shades you've got, oe has
shimmer the rest are matte. A bright summer pink (live), coral with shimmer (laugh), a nude rose (love) and a fuschia pink/mauve (dream). I think I'd say Laugh & Love are my two favourite shades as they are the most neutral and the ones I'm using more regularly. This palette also came with a lovely blusher brush - bonus!
Accessorize Telephone Bag | How adorable is this bag? I have a growing collection of
'novelty style' handbags and this one is a current favourite! I had an
Accessorize voucher left over from Christmas and one from using their loyalty
scheme in the past so I when I spied this bag in the shop recently I decided it
was absolutely worthy of the spend. I love the telephone design, if you follow
my blog you will have seen my recent telephone themed outfit post, and the Rose
gold finish is so lovely. It is pretty small but I managed to fit a decent
amount in there - phone, small purse, hand sanitiser, lipstick and some mints
(the essentials!).
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Bitch Perfect | I bought this lipstick during my London trip in the Charlotte Tilbury store in Covent Garden. It's called Bitch Perfect, not only is the texture lovely and creamy but the colour I find so wearable for everyday, it's a nude peachy-pink shade. FYI it goe really well with both the Laugh & the Love shades in the Tarte blush palette I've featured above! The rose gold packaging is also a beautiful touch and makes it feel
luxurious. A Charlotte Tilbury lipstick is quite a pricey purchase at £23 but I really wanted to treat myself to some nice things whilst I was in London and I'm very happy I chose this.
Sanctuary Spa Moisturising Butter Body Scrub | This is the time of the year where suddenly my pasty arms & legs are exposed after months of covering up during winter - ahhhh! I don't really self tan that often (although I am currently trying a new product which I will introduce you to very soon!) but I find exfoliating is key at this time of year self tanning or not. It buffs away all the build up of dead skin sells meaning your moisturisers will sink in easier and self tans will go on smoother too. This is the exfoliant from Sanctuary is the one I have been favouring of late. The particles are very effective as a scrub but the best part is the Coconut & Shea butters in it leave my skin feeling so nourished afterwards that you almost don't need to use a separate moisturiser if you don't want to. I have already repurchased this (as you can see by the full one in the picture) so it's one I would absolutely recommend!
Rose Gold Jewellery from Lily & Rose by Zetterberg | A Jewellery brand that I have been lucky enough to work with recently is Lily & Rose by Zetterberg. Based in Sweden they create stunningly sparkling pieces of jewellery! Two of the three pieces the brand were kind enough to send me included the Alice Smokey Mauve Earrings & the Miranda Smokey Mauve Bracelet. Both of these pieces are Rose Gold toned (my favourite jewellery finish!) and with Smokey Mauve Swarovski crystals. I've loved wearing them, they're just so dam sparkly! I have an outfit post coming up soon on the blog where I am wearing both of these so look out for that. The third piece that I was send was this elegant pair of Jackie Creme Earrings. Yankee Candle Summer Peach | This fragrance one of Yankee's new UK launches for Summer and even before I tried it I was confident that Summer Peach would be right up my street! Described as "Ripe peaches straight from the orchard, warmed by the sun and begging for that first juicy bite." I love the fruity scented candles Yankee produce especially to burn during the summertime. This one is so bright, juicy and delicious and has it really acted as a morning pick-me-up over the last few days as I've been using it.
