It's that time again! Time to run you through a list of items/products that I have been loving this month.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Shadow Palette | This shadow palette is from Tarte's recent Rainforest of the Sea collection. All of these particular products are infused with their vegan friendly, proprietary rainforest of the sea complex. I have used these shadows so much this month especially over my birthday celebrations (see my birthday 'look' here). I love the names of the eyeshadows, including mermaid, seashell and starfish - so cute! Like all the Tarte Cosmetics shadow palettes the shades are very highly pigmented and long lasting on the lids so the whole palette is bound to last me for years! Unfortunately this palette seems to have sold out everywhere but Tarte have many beautiful palettes you can buy from their website here but also from QVC here.
Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel | This is a cream textured exfoliant containing natural fruit enzymes including papaya and pineapple to gently get rid of dry skin. I have been using product for about 3 years or more now and I has been a favourite since day one. I used to suffer with really bad acne and although I knew I needed to exfoliate I found mechanical exfoliants containing particles made my sensitive and inflamed skin feel even more sore! This was the answer. You can't feel it working is just feels like a cream, you leave it on for 10-15 minutes the rinse off and moisturise as usual. Plus it smells just gorgeous!
Yankee Candle Flowers in the Sun | Flowers In The Sun was a brand new floral fragrance for this summer and I like it way more than I was expecting to! I thought it might be similar to Yankee's retired scent, sunflower, but it's actually quiet different it's more sweet and uplifting with definite notes of citrus in there. It's the sort of fragrance I would love to wear as a perfume! I think I will look to get this in a jar, probably in the post Christmas sale online (top tip: always a great time to buy!). Described as "Like a walk in the garden with sunlight spilling over all the golden colours a remarkably bright scent of sweet blossoms."
Disaster Designs Bag | I have long been a fan of Disaster Designs prints. I first came across them in a unique little gift shop and went home to see if I could find more from the range online. Temptation Gifts stock so many of their beautiful products and are always adding new pieces. What I love about them is they design such individual, whimsical and decorative bags that you literally won't see anywhere else, from their once upon a time fairytale collection to the postcard/travel inspired collection called Bon Voyage which this bag is from. It's a nice small cross body bag which I find the perfect size for me as I can't physically carry anything heavy anyway and I've been using it all summer!
Unicorn Necklace by And Mary | I received this porcelain unicorn necklace as a gift for my birthday recently! It is from And Mary online and I've worn it so much, when I'm not wearing I have it sitting on my dressing table as I just like to look at it. I absolutely love And Mary beautiful porcelain animal designs. You might remember I already have a lovely flamingo necklace from them which is much treasured. I'm also eyeing up some of their woodland range, they adorable robins and a squirrel that I would just love to add to my collection!
Rimmel Kate Lipstick in My Nude | Rimmel have launched a new collection of lipsticks to celebrate 15 years of their most successful partnership, their one with Kate Moss. There are special editions of Kate's favourite red and nude shades in pretty metallic rose packaging. This lipstick is called 'My Nude' and not only do I find the shade a very wearable everyday nude for my skin tone (even with very minimal makeup) but the texture is divinely creamy! As much as I love the matte lipstick trend sometimes you really just want something comfortable and creamy on your lips. I'm keen to try more from this collection as I love this one so much!
