Rimmel Magnifieyes Eye Palette | I was lucky enough to receive this palette from Rimmel before Christmas as part of their #getreadywithrimmel campaign. There are 3 different varieties of Magnifieyes Palette*, this one is London Nudes Calling. It features 8 nude shades, 3 matte pale shades and 5 shimmer shades including a pink, bronze and chocolate. I've been using this palette a great deal since I got it for easy everyday looks and I love it! I don't use the applicator that came with I use my own shadow brushes but the mirror in the compact is a great and useful size. As you can see from the swatches on my arm (without a primer) they aren't extremely densely pigmented but good enough when used with a primer on the lids. The palest shade didn't swatch very well but I like to sweep this one on my lids for days where I'm wearing only mascara just to even out the skin tone. Overall I've been really impressed with this little palette and think it's a great budget alternative to the more expensive palettes like Urban Decay or if you perhaps don't want to use those one everyday.

Loves List: January, Katie Kirk Loves, UK Blogger, Lifestyle Blogger, Beauty Blogger, Dr Paw Paw, Dr Paw Paw Balm Review, Beauty Balm

Dr Paw Paw Original Balm | Every time I pick this up I can't help but find Baloo's voice my head singing "Now when you pick a pawpaw or a prickly pear..." - maybe it's just me?! I've heard so many positive reviews from the beauty community on Dr Paw Paw multi-purpose balms* that I was really excited to try it for myself! One of the many ways it can be used is on lips and cuticles to nourish dry, irritated skin, something I've been really suffering with throughout these cold winter months. Other uses include soothing cracked skin on hands, feet and elbows, easing minor abrasions & insect bites, smoothing fly away hairs & unruly eyebrows, preventing split ends and you can even use it as a make up primer - oh how I do love a multi-purpose product! This 10ml Original Balm is the perfect size for travelling and 100% vegan friendly containing natural ingredients such as fermented papaya, aloe vera and olive oil which work together to create the smooth consistency of the balm. The product comes out clear with no distinctive scent and I must say is absolute delight to use, uniquely smooth & moisturising compared to any other kind of balm I've tried in the past. I'm definitely sold and am keen to buy a full size now! There are also tinted options available in peachy pink and red which I like the sound of, to add a nice hint of colour.

"The main ingredient is fermented Pawpaw, the fruit of the plant Carica Papaya. The Pawpaw has been found to have natural healing qualities and is believed by many to be the finest natural medicine yet discovered."

The new 10ml sized Original Balm is now available exclusively in Primark for £2.50.

Loves List: January, Katie Kirk Loves, UK Blogger, Lifestyle Blogger, Beauty Blogger, Yankee Candle, Linden Tree Wax Melt, Pure Essence

Yankee Candle Linden Tree |  At the beginning of 2017 Yankee Candle added a third collection to their much loved pure essence range. Cherry Blossom, Fresh Mint & Linden Tree. They make a refreshing change from all the rich, sweet & spicy candles I've been enjoying over the festive period so I was excited to try them out. I will reviewing the full collection on the blog very soon but in this post I wanted to feature the one I've been enjoying most this month which is Linden Tree. I didn't really know what a Linden Tree was to be honest with you, but apparently it's a lime tree! This doesn't smell anything like Lime though, it's a scent of sweet blossom with light refreshing notes. It reminds me a little of the scent of honeysuckle, divine! Described as "Fresh blooming Linden enjoyed through the green leafy sunlight of a quiet day"

Barry M Copper Mine Nail Polish | Being a perfect blogger cliche I love all things Copper and Rose Gold! So it's no surprise that I'm always on the hunt for nail polishes in this dreamy metallic shade to add to my collection. My friend bought me the Barry M Copper Mine Nail Polish for Christmas, this is part of their four new Molten Metals Collection "for an instant luxe look" and "a mirror shine that will glisten for days". This is literally the only colour I have worn on my nails throughout January, I've fallen so in love with it! It lasts really well (with my trusty Seche Vite top coat) and I think it just looks so chic. I will be stocking up on a couple of back ups in this beautiful shade!

Loves List: January, Katie Kirk Loves, UK Blogger, Lifestyle Blogger, Beauty Blogger, Elemis Herbal Lavender Repair Mask, Face Mask

Elemis Herbal Lavender Face Mask | This face mask has been a long time favourite of mine. I think I must have been using it for the last 7 years at least, I like to try lots of different face masks but this trusted one I will always come back to! In fact I've just had it on tonight whilst I've been writing. It never irritates my skin, it's soothing, repairing and not drying. I suffered with bad hormonal acne for several years during my early twenties and this was the only mask that was comfortable on my skin. I had deep scars for years, and still have a few visible now but I believe that my regular use of this mask to have really helped with the appearance of them and evening out my skin tone. I've even turned my sister onto it recently as she's been suffering with problematic skin which is way more sensitive than mine and this works really well for her too! I can't believe I haven't featured this in a Loves List before actually, but however many face masks I try now and in the future I will always make sure I keep a stock of my Elemis Herbal Lavender.

"A powerful regenerating mask containing antiseptic rosemary, thyme and Lavender essential oils, which synergistically rebalance and purify the skin, making this the ideal mask for sallow and youthful skins  prone to congestion".

Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter | A product definitely in keeping with the 'Winter Rescue' theme! This is actually a Lush product I had never tried until recently (I know shock, horror there actually is one!). I've checked it out in the store in the past but never actually invested in a pot. Lemony Flutter is a thick moisturising balm designed to aid hard dry skin such knees, elbows, heels and cuticles. Anything that needs a little extra moisture, but a little goes a long way. The smell is just divine, like lemon curd! I can't get enough of it. The product contains Fresh Organic Lemon Infusion, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Beeswax as well as Avocado, Coconut & Linseed Oils. So absolutely packed full of great natural ingredients. I must say I find it extremely therapeutic massaging this into my cuticles every night before bed! At only £6.95 it's definitely worth trying.

*Asterisk marks PR Samples which were sent to me but all opinions are, as always, my own.
