Ahh British Spring time... A time of year that's always tricky when it comes to styling! With sunny spells that look deceptively warm but turn out to hide a biting wind and days with periodic rain showers what's a girl to wear? I think light layering is key and if you stick to a colour palette, in this case black and white, you can interchange pieces easier depending on the weather. I bought this gorgeous Gilet from River Island and have found I've got so much wear out of it. It keeps my core warm and feels a bit cosy without being as heavy as a coat and not so cumbersome to carry if you need to discard it either! It also looks great paired with a black or denim skirt too. I was actually unsure whether to post this seeing as how it's started to warm up this week. However this is the sort of thing I've been wearing a lot lately and I decided I still wanted to share it with you!
I did recently take the decision to finally put my winter coats away for a few months, like I do every year, to make way for my Summer things. So hears hoping Summer weather is truly on the horizon...
