Recently I spent a lovely evening at the Bluebelle & Co gift shop in Brighton where I was treated to an after hours experience checking out all their wonderful products with a bunch of other local bloggers! Located on Trafalgar Street just a short walk from Brighton Station, the shop is bigger than I expected it to be and a super friendly place to visit. I really enjoyed getting snap-happy with my camera. It's also the ideal place to go if you're looking for a unique, fun and original gift to get someone! I have so many friends that I feel like I'm starting to run out of gift ideas for, however this place gave me so much new inspiration! Everything is reasonably priced and you can pretty much guarantee the recipient won't be getting the same gift from someone else.
It really is an Aladdin's Cave kind of shop with sparkly treasures and unique trinkets around every corner! From gorgeous embellished cushions and throws, delicate crockery, cute bags, pretty lighting and many other trinkets there is so much to grab your interest. There is even a four poster bed in the store, can I just move in now?! The place is actually owned by Kate Powell who is the founder of the brands Powell Craft and House of Disaster (formally known as Disaster Designs), a brand that I have loved for many years now. From bags, purses, make up bags & homewards House of Disaster have always stood out to me for their quirky/kitsch designs, unique embellishments and themed collections. As Bluebelle & Co are owned by the designer herself you'll always find the new ranges stocked their first which is really exciting!! I was particularly taken with the 'Meow' range which has loads of cat printed pieces including bags, purses, mirror, a trinket dish and even a teapot and mug. I couldn't resist buying the 'Meow' Cat Bag as well as a Cacti Trinket Dish for myself!
The shop also features adorable Children's Wear by Kate's other brand, Powel Craft, all with unusual prints & designs on them. So if you're looking for an unusual gift for a Mum-to-be, baby shower, children's birthday or christening present then I'd definitely go here.

If you're a blogger you'd love it there as it's like 'blog prop' heaven! There are so many little trinket dishes and pretty make up bags to use in your photos as well as in your homes of course and there are pineapple and cacti themed pieces galore.
