I seriously cannot believe that it has been 2 years since my blog was born! Est. August 1st 2015. Starting out I had no real idea what I was doing but decided to just write about what I loved and what felt right and hope that others would connect. Two years on and I'm still enjoying riding the blogging rollercoaster and I honestly think it's been the best thing I've ever done!
I've achieved some amazing things in the last 2 years and been given some great opportunities. Things that I only really dreamt about doing, from working with some of my favourite brands like Oasis, Nails Inc and Rimmel, to attending and even helping organise exciting blogger events, to making new friends through the blogosphere. Everything seems quite surreal. Hitting the 3k mark on both my Instagram and Twitter accounts recently were also fantastic milestones for me! As always with me though I'm constantly striving to improve and better myself and grow my blog to make more successful each day as where I'm at is never good enough! No doubt this is a good thing in some ways but I reckon I should take more moments like this to reflect on and appreciate what I have already achieved.
Blogging with a chronic illness or disability can be hard and definitely frustrating at times when you can't physically manage to do everything you want to, complete projects when planned or have to turn down fantastic opportunities simply because your body won't allow it. However for me I find it's the best distraction from my health problems (in fact any & all problems!) blogging gives me a focus and a great sense of accomplishment even when I'm having a really bad day!
Please leave me a comment below and let me know what your favourite blog posts are that I've done so far this year? Check my archives located in the sidebar to your right for a recap! I’d also really love to know what kind of posts you'd most like to see from me going forward? Is it Fashion & Outfit of the Day's, Beauty Reviews, Make Up Tutorials, Health related blogs or more chatty Lifestyle kind of posts to get to know more about me? Let me know.
Outfit Details: Royal Worcester Print Playsuit* | Bag* (similar) | Hairband | Earrings (handmade my me!) | Rings | Wedges.
Of course I had to include a cheeky Outfit of the Day in my anniversary post! This gorgeous little playsuit* is from the Royal Worcester Collection by Oasis. I fell in love with the crochet detailing around the neckline and the key hole cut out back, plus there is of course the beautifully intricate print that Oasis always do so well. I feel you could rock this on a weekend for lunch with the girls or dress it up for a glam night out! This playsuit is now on sale down from £50 to just £30 so grab it quick!!
