Today I wanted to share with you these beautiful Colour Kajals from Soultree* I've been trying recently. I was contacted by the brand as they were aware how much I love discovering new organic & cruelty free beauty products.
These handmade Kajals combine carbon black, collected from vegetable oil lamps, with organic ghee, natural mineral colours and organic almond oil (for moisture) to create vibrant colours designed to highlight your eyes in traditional Asian style. They are free of preservatives, synthetic colours, paraffins or silicones. There are 12 different colours and I chose Copper Tint and Purple Haze which appealed to me most!
Copper Tint | A dark brown with a hint of golden shimmer in the colouring.
Purple Haze | A medium to dark purple with a hint of maroon great for a dramatic evening look it blend it to make a more subtle day look.
These crayons glide on beautifully with a lovely cooling feel (as they contain Camphor) which I appreciate on my tired, sensitive eyes. They are cone shaped with a perfect point that creates a nice line - I hope this remains! I think the colours I chose are perfect for bringing out my green eye colour and also make the whites pop, they're very wearable for everyday too. ~See swatches and my make up look below.
There is also a Transparent one which I find very intriguing! It's meant to help cool and soothe your eye area whilst leaving a modern glossy finish. The other shade options include: Pure Black, Cold Black, Grey Glow, Rich Loam, Mood Indigo, True Blue, Fern Green, Moss Velvet and 24 Carat.
