Last week I received my first ever Cohorted Beauty Box
You may have tried beauty boxes before, I certainly have, but Cohorted is different. Firstly all their products are high end so you'll receive the best of the best products perhaps from brands you have always wanted to try but had to resist because of the price tag as well as discovering new brands. Secondly, with the exception of one in this box, all products are full size which is rare in a beauty box! Each box comes with a little booklet telling you all about the products, the brands and how to use them.

"A Cohorted Beauty Box contains a secret selection of hand-picked beauty must haves, enclosed in an elegant all black exterior, and finished with a luxury hand tied bow."

You can subscribe here for £35 per box and also view previous boxes here if you want more of an idea about what you might be getting.

Too Faced Melted Lipstick | A 'melted' liquefied longwear lipstick with the staying power of a stain. I have always wanted to try one of these formulas from Too Faced but until now have never tried one. These are intense opaque lip glosses or liquid lipsticks if you prefer! Using exclusive technology to keep cauldrons of molten lipsticks liquid and creamy they provide a longwear burst of intense colour that feels comfortable on your lips. The shade I received is called Melted Coral and is beautiful vibrant Peachy-Coral shade and it smells like vanilla. It's definitely a shade I would wear, perhaps more so I'm the summer time as coral is my go-to then! I'd really like to collect some more shades now. RRP. £19.00

Figs & Rouge Primer | I'd never tried anything from this brand before so I was really excited to give it a go. This primer claims to soothe and neutralise redness & blemish marks, is oil free and increases wear time of make up. The product comes out as a gel with a full on rose gold sheen. So I think it'll be lovely on no make up days as the pink really warms up my pale skin tone as well adding illumination, it would definitely help to counteract a sallow skin tone too. I was really impressed with this primer and how much it improved the look at wear time of my make up! I've only ever found two primers that I actually liked and felt were in any way effective. So to be honest I was really surprised that I liked this one!! I'm very keen to try more from this brand now. RRP. £35.00

New CID Volumising Mascara | I have tried one product from New CID before and that was a highlighting loose powder which was a really lovely champagne shade so I was looking forward to trying something else from the brand. The I-Intense mascara is buildable with a rich pigment, flexible polymers to plump up, lengthen and separate the lashes in one sweep. The wand has a particularly big and fluffy brush which I really like. With two coats on the top & one on the bottom I found I could create a really beautiful fluttery look - so thumbs up! RRP. £20.00

Plum & Ashby Honey & Jojoba Hand Cream | I always love to discover new beauty brands and finding out what kind of products they create and Plum & Ashby are completely new to me! It's fantastic to note that this brand does not test on animals. Designed to be a rich and long lasting hand cream that will deeply moisturise your dry skin this product is enriched with natural ingredients and essential oils. These include extracts of corn poppy, plant butters and vitamin E. Plus Jojoba oil which helps to protect and repair damage to the skin as well as keeping it nourished and healthy. The silver packaging of this product looks so luxe and is seriously insta worthy! The scent is beautiful and lingers for longer than I thought it would too. RRP. £15.00

Lancôme Visionaire Advanced Multi Correcting Cream | This is such a luxurious product from an aspirational brand. A multi-correcting SPF 20 Moisturiser which works to correct by reducing the appearance of signs of ageing such as wrinkles, dullness and a lack of firmness whilst helping to protect against premature skin ageing. Even though it's only sample sized (5ml) you do get two of them. The texture is a light cream-gel which kind of reminds me of of favourite Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. It has a velvety finish and smells really fresh and aquatic too which is particularly lovely in the morning. It's definitely on my wishlist now to get in a full size! RRP. £20.00
