You may remember that I received my first ever Cohorted Beauty Box back in November (see blog post here) and it was a real hit both from my point of view and you guys seemed to love it too! So when December's Box landed on my doorstep I knew I'd have to share it with you all again. I must say I squealed when I saw the products that were inside this month's one - they're from some incredible brands!
You can subscribe here for £35 per box which is amazing value as the products altogether in this particular one are worth £90! You can also view previous boxes here if you want more of an idea about what you might be getting.
Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint | Now, I've been a massive fan of Tarte for a good 2 years or so now - their shape tape concealer being my number 1 holy grail product! However sadly the brand is not available in any high street store over here you can usually only get it on qvcuk.com or buy direct from tartecosmetics.com but pay the delivery & potential custom charges from the US. Even so I've still managed to amass a pretty impressive collection of their products! I'd always wanted to try one of their glossy lip paints but until now had yet to get my hands on one, I must say it didn't disappoint! I received the shade Obvi which is a natural nude/pink colour. The formula is that of a full coverage lipstick but with the finish of a gloss which I really like as it makes a change from all my matte lipsticks! I find it comfortable and pretty long-wearing considering. Note: in this box you may have received a Huda Beauty Lip Strobe instead as they were randomised.
Cargo Cosmetics Emerald City Palette | I'd never tried any product by Cargo Cosmetics before so I really didn't know what to expect but just look how beautiful this is! The packaging and layout kind of reminds me of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Palettes. You can see on the back of the packaging that this palette is arranged in 3 quads and 6 duos perfectly coordinated so you know which shades to match together for easy day to night looks. Plus it comes with a lovely double ended brush which is a bonus! The name is inspired by the city coffee culture, charming architecture & lush greenery of Seattle - nicknamed The Emerald City! I really love the range of shades from taupes, golds & neutrals to forest greens they're all shades I would wear - I have hazel-green eyes so these will really compliment. The quality of these shadows is also really impressive the texture is really fine, smooth and velvety. I'm definitely going to be using it a lot over this holiday season!
Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner | Eyeko is such a great brand that I have tried before and they create products that are all enriched with beneficial pro vitamin formulas for long term eye & lash care. This skinny liquid liner is carbon black with a glossy finish (due to Algae extract) yet its long-wear and smudge proof! I've never been that great with applying liquid liners to be honest but this has to be one of the easiest ones I've used - I actually got a really smooth even line.
Becca Cosmetics Shadow & Light Brow Contour Mousse | Becca is one of my absolute favourite brands, everything is the most beautiful quality and is all designed to enhance your natural beauty for a glowing look. However I've never tried this brow product before so I was really excited to give it a go! On one side you have an air whipped mousse in what turns up to be the perfect shade for my brow colour! It is designed to adhere to existing brow hairs, to thicken, extend and fill in with the added bonus of being long lasting, water-resistant, smudge proof. I used a brow brush with this product using fine feathery strikes to get my desired look. On the opposite side of the pot you have a beautiful pink hued highlighter to illuminate the brow bone and give a lifted effect. I really got on well with this product and have a feeling the pot is going to last me ages!
Have you ever tried a Cohorted beauty box before? Let me know if you've used any of these products too!
