As a content creator I tend to find my content ‘antenna’ is constantly switched on making sure I never miss a perfect opportunity for shots or post ideas. Which is necessary as that is a big part of my job. However, that does mean sometimes I can find it hard to just sit back enjoy the moment! I do think it’s easy for us all to get caught up like that in our ‘busy’ lives right now though.
PANDORA’s new lifestyle campaign is centred around Life’s Moments. Which I think is open to your interpretation, it could be that it makes you think about big moments in your life like your Wedding Day, a special holiday or the birth of your child. For me I feel it’s more those smaller moments, like laughing uncontrollably with your best friend for no apparent reason! Sitting outside in the sunshine or spending time with my Mum. Little moments, and then almost without realising it those moments become irreplaceable memories. PANDORA have several key pieces in their Life’s Moments inspired collection. I chose this classic Entwined Hearts Necklace for its simplicity and timelessness. An elegant hand-finished design crafted from 14ct gold and sterling silver. There is also a gorgeous matching ring available.

I wore this necklace for the first time last week when my Mum & I visited Chichester Cathedrals annual Festival of Flowers where we spent the most wonderful afternoon together. Chichester is one of our absolute favourite towns but I’d never been to the flower festival before! We both really enjoyed wandering through the Cathedral admiring the quite mesmerising displays that had been created for the event. Their theme for this year was This Earthly Paradise and I was quite overwhelmed by the breathtaking creations, which apparently take more than a year in planning, I wasn’t expecting there to be so much! The main displays upon entering were themed on different countries: Europe, Africa, The Americas, Asia, India & Australasia and I was particularly taken with a Japanese one with gorgeous oriental fans. Mum is keen gardener and knows so much about plants she knew the names of pretty much all the flowers there even the more exotic ones! Both Mum & I love flowers, we always have to have fresh flowers in the house at all times (ideal for Blog photography!) and enjoy exploring gardens in our local area. One of our favourite parts was walking down The Cloisters where a rainbow of multi coloured umbrellas were strung up on the ceiling with flowers handing from them. It looked stunning and kind of reminded me of a picture I think I’ve seen before, does somewhere in Dubai have displays like this? Another section that I adored had a magnificent floral Peacock in really striking bright blue colours and set in front of butterflies also made of flowers of course!
The dress I’m wearing is from Oasis’ new Natural History Museum Collection which feature the most beautiful secret garden inspired prints. I literally had about 10 different women come up to me whilst I was in the cathedral complimenting me on my dress saying how well it looked against all the flowers and/or asking me where it was from, which was so lovely! Shop the collection here.
Although I obviously did stop and take photos like practically everybody else in there and thought about my content I did also make a point of taking a breath every once in a while and just enjoy the day. I think it’s easier when your surrounded by the beauty of nature though! I really want to try and make sure I spend my life enjoying the moment more and this necklace from Pandora is going to remind me to stop and smell the flowers.
